The Frost Legion is a Hardmode event during which unique Snowman enemies spawn and swarm a player's spawn point, like to the Goblin Ground forces. It is summoned using the Snowfall Globe, and defeating it unlocks the Santa Claus NPC.

The Frost Legion must be summoned using the Snow Globe, which is caused from Presents obtained during the Christmas seasonal event ( December fifteen–31 / Dec 1–January 15 / ane in-game day afterward defeating Frost Moon). Exploding Snowman Sprite

• The Frost Legion has the least amount of item drops in the game, only dropping snow blocks.
• A fourth Snowman sprite is seen inside the game resources with dynamite lodged in its caput, but it is non used in the game.
